The photo captured at Doak Campbell Stadium showing a Florida State football player appearing to propose to his girlfriend has been confirmed to be offensive lineman Brady Scott.
Scott shared an Instagram post of himself and fiancée Makala Peirce, which included the initial viral proposal photo, as well as several others featuring the couple.
Additionally, ABC 27 sports director Alison Posey shared a video of the special moment.
"The photo of Brady Scott proposing is getting a lot of attention -- here's the video," Posey tweeted. "I was getting shots of players walking off the field, heard some cheering, turned around -- and Brady was on one knee. Special moment for these two and their families!"

Few could have predicted Jacksonville State's 20-17 upset victory against Florida State at Doak Campbell Stadium on Saturday (September 11), especially not one of the Seminoles' players.
A photo shared by Twitter user Andrew Ferrelli appears to show a Florida State player dropping down to a knee and proposing to his girlfriend, despite his team suffering one of the most disappointing losses in program history.
"FSU player proposing on the field with Jacksonville St still celebrating in the background. You can’t make this stuff up," Ferrelli tweeted along with the photo.
Florida State entered the game against its FCS opponent as a 27-point favorite in Las Vegas, with an over/under of 56.5 total points, most of which were assumed to be scored by the Seminoles.
Instead, FSU found itself clinging to a 17-14 lead with six seconds remaining before quarterback Zerrick Cooper completed a 59-yard touchdown pass to Damond Philyaw-Johnson, who broke multiple tackles before breaking the plane of the end zone with no time remaining.
Typically, Power 5 teams pay FCS opponents to participate in "tune-up games" that serve to provide a momentum boost before facing a conference schedule.
Instead, the Seminoles -- who were coming off a heartbreaking 41-38 overtime home loss to Notre Dame in Week 1 -- now have an 0-2 record entering ACC play against Wake Forest in Week 3.
