Thunder Game Report for Monday

A terrible first quarter (25-39) and an abysmal shooting night from beyond the arc (5/33, 15.2%) send the Thunder to their 10th straight road playoff loss and snap a Portland streak of six straight losses in the first game of a series and 10 straight playoff losses overall. OKC outscored the Blazers after that first quarter but a 19-point deficit at one time was too much to overcome as the Thunder lose 104-99.

Russell Westbrook had a triple-double with 24 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists. Paul George, seeing his first action in almost a week because of sore shoulders had 26 points and 10 rebounds but struggled all night from deep going just 4-for-15. Russ and PG were asked about those issues post game and early on in the session The Oklahoman's Berry Tramel tried once again to get answer from Russ but again got the now all too familiar "next question" answer, non-answer.

And here's what Billy Donovan had to say after the game.

Here's some Twitter reaction on Sunday's Game 1 Thunder loss and poor shooting night from three.

Game 2 set for tomorrow night in Portland and the Thunder are 4-4 in Game 2s when they lose Game 1 but just 2-4 in those situations on the road.
