Both the Sooners and Cowboys tried to avoid the heat of the day during their football practice sessions. OSU working indoors yesterday morning the OU working outside last evening. We hear from OU quarterback Jalen Hurts, running back T.J. Pledger and assistant coach Cale Gundy. From Stillwater we hear from head coach Mike Gundy, offensive coordinator Sean Gleeson and defensive coordinator Jim Knowles. Knowles had some great things to say about former Edmond Santa Fe defensive end Trace Ford.
Also new Thunder guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander puts out a statement on his social media about why he turned down a chance to play for his native Canada in the upcoming FIBA World Cup games in China.
