Mayor Holt Signs New COVID-19 Emergency Proclamation

Oklahoma City Mayor David Holt signed a new COVID-19 emergency proclamation that now requires food service employees (including restaurants, breweries, wineries, taverns, shopping mall food courts, food halls, cafeterias, night clubs, and any other food service establishments) to wear face coverings and limit bar seating.

The order is in effect from July 3rd to July 17th.

Bars are ordered to limit occupancy to 50% of the Fire Marsha's listed occupancy.

Any venues with theater-style seating like movie and live performance theaters, concert halls, sporting venues, amusement parks, places of worship, wedding venues, event venues, and funeral homes, must have staggered seating to ensure social distancing

The proclamation also strongly recommends that community members wear masks.
