The Thunder will open the 2019-20 regular season on the road in salt Lake City against the Utah Jazz on Oct. 23rd, before hosting former coach Scott Brooks and the Washington Wizards on Friday, Oct. 25th.
Paul George makes his return on December 22nd (different from a date that had been leaked earlier) Russell Westbrook returns on January 3rd and Jerami grant returns to The Peake with his Denver Nuggets on February 21st.
After Utah and Washington the Thunder conclude October by hosting the Warriors on the 27th, going to Houston on the 28th and ending the month hosting Portland on the 30th. That could add up to a 1-4 start to the season which could extend to 1-5 because OKC will host Zion Williamson and the Pelicans on November 2nd. That date also happens to be when the OSU Cowboys football team hosts TCU in Stillwater. It will be the first time the Thunder have ever had a home game on the same day as an OU or OSU football game.
