The Thunder have probably played better than their 5-9 record might indicate. Only one of those nine losses was a blowout, many of them were highly competitive, down to the wire, down even to the very last possession type of games.
Monday's loss to the Clippers was exactly like that, a last possession game. Tuesday's loss to the Lakers wasn't quite as close but still the team had its chances.
In the lockerroom after that Laker loss Chris Paul was asked if he could see any good in in what turned out to be an 0-2 road trip.
"Nope," was his brief answer. Then he quickly added that at least everyone had stayed healthy.
