The Thunder got off to another slow start on the road this time to a mostly no-name group of players wearing Golden State Warriors jerseys. OKC trailed by 15 points about halfway through the third quarter.
You could almost hear TV sets around the metro turning off as Thunder fans gave up any hope of a rally and went off to sleep.
But a funny thing happened on the way to the Thunder's seventh straight road loss and 11th loss overall this season...OKC won.
The Thunder outscored the Warriors 26-14 in the fourth quarter and held Golden State to just 23% shooting in the last 12 minutes of the game. The Thunder ended the contest with a 13-0 run.
Dennis Schroder led the Thunder with 22 points and Chris Paul added 20. The Thunder now head up the coast to play Portland on Wednesday and then come back home on Friday to host New Orleans.
Before the game the team announced Hamidou Diallo would miss 4-6 weeks with a hyper-extended right elbow. He suffered the injury during Friday's game against the Lakers.
