OKC Local Sports for Monday

Another disappointing performance from the Thunder last night as they continue to limp toward the end of the regular season and the beginning of the playoffs. This time OKC lost to the shorthanded Dallas Mavericks 106-103. We hear from Billy Donovan, Steven Adams, Dennis Schroder and Russell Westbrook in our sports report. Plus the Final Four is set...OSU baseball and softball teams take two of their three weekend games...OU softball sweeps a DH in Utah and the Sooner baseball squad drops two of three in West Virginia.

Here is most of Russell Westbrook's postgame session with the media including another uncomfortable and frankly embarrassing, exchange with Oklahoman columnist Berry Tramel.

Russ isn't answering questions from Tramel, nor from ESPN's Royce Young. The Thunder now seem to be actively encouraging this since the other voice in that exchange was Matt Tumbleson, the Thunder's director of basketball communications.

Here is some of the reaction to this from Twitter.

And remember, the LA Lakers will be in here tomorrow night with most of their rotation players, including LeBron James, shut down for the rest of the season.

The Final Four is set now after two more great games yesterday...Auburn beat Kentucky 77-71 and Michigan State beat Duke 68-67...they join Virginia and Texas Tech as the last four teams still standing in college hoops.

---

College baseball yesterday...OSU wins a wild one in Ft. Worth, beating TCU 9-8...to win two of three down there. The Cowboys now 5-1 in Big 12 play...they host Central Arkansas tomorrow evening.

OU playing yesterday in cold and rainy Morgantown, West Virginia, lost to the Mountaineers 5-1...and lost the series two games to one. OU now 4-2 in the Big 12...Sooners host ORU tomorrow evening.

---

Softball, 2nd ranked OU in Utah...their game with the Utes snowed out on Saturday they played a doubleheader yesterday and won both ends 11-2 and 13-3...OU hosts Baylor for a weekend series beginning Friday...

The OSU Cowgirls lost to Texas 4-3 yesterday but took two of three in the series...OSU will play UT-Arlington on the road Wednesday..then host Kansas for a weekend series.
