New Thunder Guard Turns Down Team Canada Invite

Add new Thunder guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, a native of Canada, to a large group of NBA players who have turned down invitations to play for their various national teams in the FIBA World Cup in China. The details, plus a statement from SGA in today's Thunder Game Report....

 
 

Thunder center Steven Adams has also turned down an invitation from the New Zealand National team....two foreign born Thunder players will play for their countries...backup point guard Dennis Schroder is practicing with the German National Team and forward Danilo Gallinari is with the Italian National Team...he's been released from a hospital after having his appendix removed and should be back to practice in a couple of days.
