It will be interesting to see how the team responds to all this. Of course Russ missed eight game earlier this season because of injury. Dennis Schroder filled in then and the Thunder were 5-3 in those games.
But getting back to those three straight "next question" answers...it has become an all too familiar response from Westbrook and not just to questions that might be uncomfortable to answer. Russ has been praised by coaches and teammates for his leadership, especially behind the scenes. It would be nice to see some of that quality leadership out in the open on the big stage too.
