OKC Local Sports for Tuesday

The wildly inconsistent Thunder go from playing one of their best games in Friday night's win in Toronto to perhaps their worst in last night's loss in Memphis. A Grizzlies team without 7 (SEVEN!!) rotation players led by as many as 18 and beat the Thunder 115-103.

There were a couple of highlight plays like this steal and pass from Steven Adams to Dennis Schroder to Paul George.

But PG and Russell Westbrook struggled shooting. George scored 30 points but he was just 10-for-29 overall and 5-for-15 on threes. Russ had 16 points on 6-for-20 overall and 1-for-6 on threes. Dennis Schroder was the lone bright spot, he scored 25 points on an efficient 9-for-14 and 2-for-4 on threes.

But the highlights were few last night, the Thunder dug themselves into a big hole to start the game and another to start the second half. Fox Sports analyst Antonio Daniels couldn't believe what he's been seeing.

Thunder begin begin a critical 5-game homestand tomorrow night against Indiana. The Thunder announcing yesterday they're adding a 2-way player to the roster and it's a guy familiar to folks around here...former OSU star guard Jawun Evans was picked up off waivers. The Thunder had an opening for a 2-way player, when Deonte Burton was signed to a full NBA deal.

Evans could play some for the OKC Blue as they begin the G-League playoffs. The first game is tonight at the Cox Center against the Salt Lake City Stars.

Bedlam baseball tonight in Stillwater! Sooners and Cowboys playing their annual non-conference game at 6:35. You can see the game on Fox Sports Oklahoma and hear it on our sister station 96.1 KXY, pregame at 6 with the Hall of Famer Rex Holt and The Chief Matt Davis.
