When Paul George arrived in Oklahoma City from Indiana he had a reputation for not being able to hit big shots, game winning shots, at the end of a game.
Well so much for that narrative. He's hit several this season and hit perhaps his biggest big shot last night. Check out this view from the front row at The Peake.
And here's another look at it from Fox Sports Oklahoma.
The win over Houston keeps OKC alive for a 6th place finish in the Western Conference. More details about that and you can hear what Russell Westbrook said about PG's game winner on today's edition of the Thunder Game Report.
The Thunder are in Milwaukee to play the Bucks tonight. Since Milwaukee has sewn up the top seed in the East Playoffs word is they will rest many of their main guys. Billy Donovan says he'll go with his regulars to try and secure the 6th seed. A win over the Bucks and the Thunder will have it. But it would be very late tonight before their opponent is known, it could be the Nuggets, Trail Blazers or the Rockets depending on how other games go. If they lose they will fall to 8th and play the Warriors in the first round of the playoffs unless both the Spurs and Clippers lose their games tonight and in that scenario OKC would remain the 6th seed.
