Thunder Game Report for Friday

After all the talk and rumors of big draft night trades...the Thunder trying to shed salary and ready deal away players Steven Adams, Dennis Schroder, Andre Roberson and others...when it came time for the Thunder to pick at #21 none of that happened. OKC made a minor deal to drop back a couple of spots and then took a player that had some scratching their heads.

In typical Sam Presti fashion he plucked a player out of obscurity, someone no one was thinking about. Darius Bazley was a 5-star recruit coming out of high school but instead of going to college he chose to go pro hoping to sign on with a G-League team or maybe go overseas. He changed his mind again when he signed with Klutch Sports, got a reported $1 million deal with New Balance then sat out last season to work on his game.

More about Bazley and comments from Presti in today's Thunder Game Report...

Here are various highlight reels from Bazley in high school and playing in the 2018 McDonald's All-American Game...
