Thunder GM Sam Presti and his staff continue their busy week and now according to reports both center Nerlens Noel and guard Alec Burks have agreed to deals. For Noel it's the second time around after apparently agreeing to a deal Sunday and then asking for more time to think things over.
ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski broke the news as usual...
The Thunder had hoped to be able to bring Noel back after he averaged 4.9 points, 4.2 rebounds and 1.2 blocks per game last season as Steven Adams backup. Interesting though that no contract info is in that tweet from Woj. If Noel really is coming back we should get those details soon.
According to ESPN's Royce Young, based in OKC, guard Alec Burks has agreed to a deal to join the Thunder.
Last season Burks averaged 8.8 points on 40.5% shooting overall and 36.3% on threes while splitting time between Utah, Cleveland and Sacramento. He's also a career 77.1% free throw shooter which will come in handy for this Thunder squad. No details at this point on Burks' contract either.
