OSU head coach Mike Gundy will meet with reporters today at noon in the first of his weekly media luncheons. If the Cowboy coaches have come to a decision on a starting quarterback for the opener at Oregon State a week from tonight an announcement would likely come today. But most of thinking remains Gundy and offensive coordinator Sean Gleeson are ready to go with both Dru Brown, the veteran former Hawaii QB, and Spencer Sanders, the redshirt freshman former Texas high school star.
In today's morning sports we'll hear what Gundy has to say about his offense in general and Cowboy back Jelani Woods, the 6-8 former quarterback, says the offense will be much more wide open than it's been in a the last couple seasons.
We also hear from OU starting quarterback Jalen Hurts, he says he's different player now than at any time while he was at Alabama.
And new Thunder guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is excited for his new opportunities in OKC and he also wants to let everyone know he's NOT the second coming of Russell Westbrook. All this and more in today's OKC Morning Sports.
