They say defense travels and the Thunder are certainly hoping it does because right now OKC has one of the best defenses in the NBA.
Stout performances on that end of the floor have helped the Thunder stay close in every game this season and now they've won two straight.
The Thunder rank #1 in the NBA in opponent field goal shooting percentage (40.3), #1 in opponent 3-point percentage (27.3) and 3rd in opponent scoring per game (100.7) and have held three of their seven opponents under the century mark.
San Antonio meanwhile hasn't been able to hold any opponent to less than 100 points so far this season and now the Spurs have dropped three of their last four games.
The Spurs roster, with nine players not yet 25 years old, is the youngest veteran coach Gregg Popovich has coached and that youth has led to inconsistent play.

Tonight's game tips off at 7:30 and you can see it on Fox Sports Oklahoma. The Thunder will be back in The Peake this weekend for a rare home back-to-back against the Warriors on Saturday night and the Bucks on Sunday night.
