Just like in several other games so far this season the Thunder were oh so close to getting a win last night against Paul George and the Clippers.
Danilo Gallinari tied the game with a 3-pointer in the closing seconds but PG answered back with one of his own and the Clippers won it 90-88.
Chris Paul led the Thunder with 22 points and was 10-11 on free throws. Gallinari had 14 but was just 2/8 on threes and 3/13 overall. The Thunder held Paul George to just 18 points, about half what he's averaged his first two games back from shoulder surgeries.
OKC shot 37% overall but held the Clips to just 40%. The Big difference...Montrez Harrell scored 28 points off the Clipper bench, 14 of those in the 4th quarter, he also had 12 rebounds. The Thunder stayed in LA overnight and play the Lakers tonight at 9:30 on Fox Sports Oklahoma...then the Lakers will be here on Friday night...so a pretty tough 3-game stretch for OKC.
