Former OU quarterbacks Baker Mayfield and Kyler Murray went at it yesterday in Phoenix in what many fans were calling the "Boomer Bowl." Murray's Cardinals beat Mayfield's Browns pretty handily. We also run down some of the other action in the NFL involving players with ties to our state.
The OSU Cowboys mens basketball team with a huge win in Houston, beating the Cougars 61-55. Isaac Likekele missed another game but did at least make the trip so the hope is he might be able to play Saturday against Minnesota. The OU women also got a win Sunday and so did the OSU wrestlers in Bedlam.
We also hear from Jalen Hurts and Joe Burrow as they get ready to play in the Peach Bowl and the Thunder open up a 5-game homestand tonight against Chicago.
