Indiana Fever stars Caitlin Clark, Aliyah Boston, and Kelsey Mitchell have been named starters for the 2026 WNBA All-Star Game, which will take place on Saturday, July 25, in Chicago. The trio is among the ten players selected by a combined vote of fans, current players, and the media.
Joining the Fever stars are Natasha Howard and Olivia Miles from the Minnesota Lynx, Paige Bueckers and Jessica Shepard from the Dallas Wings, A'Ja Wilson from the Las Vegas Aces, Breanna Stewart from the New York Liberty, and Gabby Williams from the Golden State Valkyries. The starters were determined by averaging the weighted ranks of votes from fans, players, and media, with fans accounting for 50% of the vote.
The WNBA is celebrating its 30th anniversary, and in honor of this milestone, league legends Cynthia Cooper and Teresa Weatherspoon will serve as honorary general managers. They will select teams from the pool of 22 All-Stars. Cooper, a two-time MVP and four-time WNBA champion, and Weatherspoon, a former Liberty player and WNBA coach, bring a wealth of experience to the selection process.
The league's head coaches will soon select 12 reserves, with announcements expected next week. Coaches will vote for three guards, five frontcourt players, and four players at either position, but they cannot vote for their own players.
The All-Star Game will be held at Chicago's United Center and broadcast on ABC. This year's format is a departure from the usual captain-led team selection, marking a unique celebration of the league's history and growth.
