'Jeopardy!' Contestants Stumped Over Question About NBA's Jimmy Butler

Jeopardy! contestants don’t always get it right, as seen during the Tuesday (February 16) episode of the long-running game show.

During the Ken Jennings-hosted episode, a trio of contestants were asked to identity Jimmy Butler, 31, in the Hoops category for $1,000. "Recently, this baller-barista launched Big Face Coffee and turned his new team, the Miami Heat, into a title contender," the interim host told the threesome. When none of them were able to identify the NBA star, he offered up the answer, saying, "We were looking for Jimmy Butler."

It’s safe to say that none of the contestants are big basketball fans, but Butler has a lengthy resume under his belt. He’s played in the NBA for an entire decade as part of the Chicago Bulls, Minnesota Timberwolves and Philadelphia 76ers, before joining the Miami Heat. As for the reaction to their flub, you can believe that Twitter had something to say about the missed answer.
