Matt Ryan: I'm Hopeful But Skeptical That The 2020 Season Will Still Happen

Atlanta Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan joined Dan Patrick on The Dan Patrick Show to weigh in on the league's plan to play out the 2020 NFL season amid the coronavirus pandemic. Ryan shares his thoughts on Patrick Mahomes' record-breaking contract and his reaction when Tom Brady decided to join his division!

Dan Patrick: How do you feel about the season?

Matt Ryan:"I'm hopeful. Watching other sports...and seeing what happened with the Miami Marlins the other day...I'm skeptical...but I feel good about being able to play in September.

Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to the Patrick Mahomes contract?

Matt Ryan: "I was happy for him. It's a great time to be a quarterback. He's been such a dynamic player since he's come into the league. I think it's good for him and the organization. They know what they've got in him in terms of a player and a leader. He's been unbelievable and I'm happy for him.
